Employed directly by main contractor Norwest Holst, the project comprises of four areas of differing requirements:
Densely racked high bay area with an average height of 30m
low bay area comprising receiving/despatch
low bay racking
two level mezzanine with a height of 6m each. The design criteria is for frost protection at 10°C within the unmanned high bay with the receiving/despatch and low bay being controlled at 16°C whilst the mezzanine area will be controlled at a slightly higher temperature of 18°C. All plants are designed to operate with a minimum of 10% fresh air in the winter with the capability of supplying 100% fresh air in the summer. Complete August 2002
