Densely racked 27m high bay Smoke dispersal system External AHU's with balanced flue heat exchangers in high bay Internal AHU's in low bay
Details:
Seven Balanced Jet systems were engineered to provide frost protection and ventilation for this new warehouse development on behalf of DIY retailer B&Q.
Working with M&E contractor Briggs and Forrester, main contractor Bowmer & Kirkland and consultant Hoare Lea, JET developed a system which ensures summer time temperatures do not exceed 35°C within the low bay and high bay areas. An additional feature designed into the systems is a smoke dispersal system, which is incorporated into Jet's HVAC systems.
The low bay AHU’s are externally mounted where as the high bay units are externally mounted incorporating balanced flue heat exchangers.
